How to install SQL Server 2005

Hi. I am not trying to install this. I need to install the development side
of it on my desktop enabling me to do SQL queries on a remote server and to
add modify tables. The DVD has 3 folders Disc1, disk2 & SP1. There are lots
of forms with lots of options. This is very confusing. Is there a simple
guide for this please.

Hi Desmond,

It looks like you just want to install SQL Server Management Studio which
will let you to manage your SQL Server databases and run queries against
them.

To do this, you can simply install Management Tools (from the media you
have) or even SQL Server Management Studio Express Edition (google for it to
download and install).
