Post subject: what is this error ?
Archived from groups: comp>databases>ibm-db2 (more info?)

I see a lot of dump file with this kind of messages on the db2dump
path, what is this ? I looked up SQL0820N, it says the is some
connector exceeding its limit. How can I find out what the limit is
and how I can change it ?
Any help will be appreciated

Thanks

Try typing

DB2 ? Error msg #

in a db2 command window. In this case

DB2 ? SQL08020N

and you get:

Explanation:

The number of concurrent connectors has exceeded the number of
defined entitlements.

User Response:

Contact your IBM representative or authorized dealer to obtain
additional entitlements and then update the DB2 license
information in the License Center.

Sounds like you are licensed by concurrent user and you exceeded the
maximum concurrent users that you are licensed for.

Larry, I did look up that error message, but what concurrent
connectors is it talking about ? I run DB2 on CPU based license not
concurrent users. How can I find out what is the limit that its
hitting ? Where is it set ? A db2licm -l shows that I am on
Processor license.

Thanks
