Post subject: a question regarding disk in cluster
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>sqlserver>clustering (more info?)

Hi Guys,
I have a active/passive cluster and there are 3 drives setup that is in
SAN(X, Y, and Z). In cluster administrator, I can see all of them. But I
cannot see the all of them and I can see only X drive in sql server. e.g.
When I restore backup file into database and I want to put log file into Y
drive, but I couldn't see it. Could someone tell me what is the reason?
Thanks.

You have to make the SQL service dependent on the new drives. Note that
making the change will require stopping SQL Server. You change cluster
dependencies using the cluster admin tool.
