NJS,
Using Enterprise Manager, expand your database details, select the Diagrams
entry, right-click, choose New Database Diagram... and go to work.
Bad news is that this diagram is not particulary printable. If you also have
Visio or some such simple diagramming tool, you will probably have a better
experience in creating diagrams and printing copies for other people to use.
Although, it would be strictly offline from the database.

Maybe I should have mentioned this first, but I tried that before I posted
the question (as there are more than 80 tables the output is almost useless).
I was actually looking for a 'useful' / third-party automatic, zoomable,
sectionable schematic generator, that has the smarts to lay out the tables,
and indicate relationships. Do you know of anything?

database diagrams in SQL 2000 + VS.NET 2005 - I've recently upgraded to VS.NET 2005 (still using SQL Server 2000), and I'm no longer able to edit database diagrams from with VS.NET as I could with 2003. Am I missing a setting somewhere, or is this no longer supported? Thanks, g.
Upgrading Database Diagrams to 2005 - I upgraded from Sql Server 2K to 2005 and in the process upgraded the database diagrams. When I view the upgraded database diagram the font size and row height of the tables have increased so the bottom 25% of the rows don't display. Is there a way....
Database Diagrams - alignment - We use diagrams extensively in SQL Server 2000 (have yet to upgrade to 2005). At some point in time, I must have changed a 'snap to grid' like setting in database diagrams, and now my relationships have kinks whenever I move a table. It's very ugly....
