I've been having big problems installing PHP, MySQL and a Web server.

I have downloaded the very latest PHP and MySQL files...

PHP5.1.1 zip package
PHP5.1.1 installer
MySQL Server 5.0

But before I install this I need a web server to run on Win2000. It
looks like I need IIS as Apache is Linux. Is IIS available as a free
download?

I've tried these all in one packages with no luck.

Maybe I need another type of web server. Any ideas??

Many Thanks

Mike

You can install IIS from the win2k install CD, alternatively, you can
install Apache on a Windoze box. I have successfully run IIS, PHP and
MySQL on Win XP as a test bed, though I use Abyss (free for
noncommercial single host use) on an XP Pro box as my main server.
