Senior BI/DW Developer position in Mahwah, NJ

The position plays a key role in the design, development, architecture
and support of the Oracle data warehouse and assists in database
design, maintenance, ETL development, query optimization and report
development.


Qualifications

5+ years experience writing high performance ETL programs using PL/SQL
Knowledge of Oracle Warehouse Building (OWB) is desirable
5+ years data warehouse design and implementation experience in an
Oracle environment
Experience designing dimensional models (star schema) utilizing Kimbal
methodologies
Hands-on experience with Oracle 9i and experienced in SQL tuning
Knowledge of korn shell scripting
Understanding of Oracle ERP modules PA, AP, AR, HR, etc.
Strong analytical, communication and organizational skills; able to
work on multiple assignments; trouble-shoot, debug and problem solve
Reside within a 50 mile radius of Mahwah, NJ

Job functions and responsibilities

Design, develop and maintain ETL solutions using OWB and Oracle PL/SQL
stored procedures
Work with the Systems Architecture and DBA teams in developing
approaches to maintaining optimized DW solutions
Data modeling
Interpret BI requirements and translate them into an effective DW
design using dimensional modeling techniques
Assist in overall DW database design and development
Logical and physical database design (fact & dimension tables)
