Post subject: SSIS, BIDS & Memory Use
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>sqlserver>datawarehouse (more info?)

I have been having an issue where I run a small HR Headcount Fact Table build
in SSIS for 50+ iterations. I slowly run out of memory. It appears that
BIDS is not releasing it. There is very minor custom code and all of it is
clean and calls dispose, etc. Are there any known issues with SSIS/BIDS not
releasing memory?

When my master package finishes runing, it stops with success but doesnot
free memory. It only relinquishes the 1GB of memory when I stop the debugger.

Thoughts? Help?
