Archived from groups: microsoft>public>sqlserver>setup (more info?)

I have setup a new Windows 2003 sp1 server with SQL2000 SP4. I did a
complete backup of an existing SQL2000 SP3 server (database) on 2000 server
SP4 and copied it onto the new 2003 server (it is going to replace the 2000
server ). Everything seems to be OK excpet for the SQL Mail Agent. I have
installed Outlook 2000 and created a profile called SQLMail, which I can
open, send/receive messages without problem.

My version of SQLMap70.dll is 8.00.239

When I try and configure the SQL Mail Configuration, it shows no profiles on
the drop down and I get the following error

Error 18025:xp_test_mapi_profile: failed with mail error 0x80040111

Help, I am, stumped!!

hi

Vishal has exact solution of the problem.just wanted to add one more thing
that is not necessary that you should be part of the same domain.you have to
just use same username and password for SQL logon and outlook has to be
configured in same login .say for example i logged in with username Ashok
and configure my outlook so now my sql need to start with username ashok.one
more thing it is not important to have exchange or mail server in same
domain.
