URGENT NEED FOR SENIOR TERADATA DBA


OUR CLIENT:

Our client is a Fortune 500 company with a strong 20,000 employee base
offering a portfolio of services to companies that include process
consulting and outsourcing; application consulting and outsourcing and
infrastructure services. As a potential consultant or an employee you
are guaranteed to work with the newest and most exciting technologies
and services.


TITLE: Senior Teradata DBA
LOCATION: Southlake, TX
TYPE: 9+ months with strong possibility of extension


ROLE:

* Designs, implements and maintains complex Teradata databases.
* Overall monitoring of standards and procedures, and integration of
systems through database design.
* Primary support resource for daily ETL loads, troubleshoots, fixes,
and owns delivery to service levels.


Required Skills:

* 3-5 years experience as a Teradata DBA (certification preferred).
* 3-5 years experience developing in or supporting Informatica or
equivalent ETL tools such as Ab Initio, Sunopsis, BO Data Integrator,
or Ascential.
* 3-5 years experience with Unix shell scripting and Perl.
* Clearly demonstrates ability to develop standard operating
procedures in a production environment.
* Experience with CA Autosys, BMC Control M, or other enterprise
scheduling tools is a plus.


US Citizen or Green Card only. H1-B visas NOT accepted.
