Dear all I am having "issues" connecting to the sample DB's on a fresh
install of SQL 2005 via ODBC.

I can create a working ODBC connection on the server, but am unable to
connect from an XP SP2 workstation.

No domain, but all machines in the same WORKGROUP.

I believe I have eliminated all firewall issues already.

The errors I receive refer to the user account not having a "trusted
connection. Varous searches for soloutions have yielded no success.

I have created and identical users and passwords on the 2008 Server and XP
SP 2 workstation.

I have tried MANY configuration for creating the ODBC on the workstation,
yes, the server name is automatically seached in the first phase of the ODBC
setup screeen.

Ideas ?
