For Windows versions of Paradox, right-click on the table. Choose Info
Structure. The field list will come up. Any fields with a picture of a key
next to them, are part of the Primary index. Click on the "Secondary Index"
tab which will list any secondary indexes.

For DOS version choose Tools - Info - Structure. Any fields with an
asterisk are part of the primary index. From main menu again, choose
Tools - Info - TableIndex. This will show any secondary indexes.

identification?.. "table name" plus extension..

data file - .db
primary index - .px
indexes - .x* and .y* pairs

actually in use at this moment?.. that's not so easy.. what context? what
platform/program?
