Archived from groups: per prev. post (more info?)

Greetings All,

I have just downloaded the win32 version of Ingres 9.2,

The download page supplies an MD5 checksum so I can verify my download,
which is great,

But what tool / how do I check this value?

TIA

Richard

To all who answered, thank you.

As I had downloaded the win32 version for trialling on Vista 32 bit, I ended
up getting
hashcalc from http://www.slavasoft.com/ as suggested by Martin.

Mind you, the Gnu toolset if it was available for win32 would be even more
useful.

Anyway ... If pigs could fly......

Thanks again

Richard.
