Hello all,
So IDS 11 now has Kerberos integration and comes with a library
$INFORMIXDIR/lib/csm/libixgss.so for this integration.
There are two types of Kerberos (MIT and Heimdal), so for Redhat AS 4
which version of Kerberos did IBM
use to build their library?
Which Kerberos have they tested against and which ones will they
support? MIT or Heimdal or both?
And which versions of each?
Also apparently there can be different entries in the keytab file,
which entries will the Informix library
support?
I opened a PMR but the IBM support guy did not tell me...
Regards,
David. >> Stay informed about: IDS 11 and Kerberos |

And what woe do you imagine will befall you if you should reveal the PMR
number? Only IBMers will be able to do anything with it.
