Post subject: Do you use FileMaker Pro?
Archived from groups: alt>comp>databases (more info?)

Am using FileMaker Pro 4.0 DataBase, and want to the application to
automatically enter a value from a different field (calculated) in a
previous record. I am using this calculation:
If(IsEmpty(Last(STOP_MILES)),"0000",Last(STOP_MILES)).
In plain English, my record has the field "Start Miles" and the field "Stop
Miles" with the calculated total. Each day begins a new record, and I want
the new record to automatically enter the "Stop Miles" in the new record
"Start Miles" field.
Any help would be appreciated.
