Some concepts to distinct : Datamart, ETL, HOLAP/ROLAP/MOLAP, MDX, MDM, BPM.
Most recognized companies with BI products are Hyperion, Cognos, Bussiness Objects, Outlooksoft, Microstrategy. Can check their
websites for case studies and further reference. Also, BI products are tightly integrated with analysis & reporting.
