Post subject: After DTS Copies Objects, MS Access client cannot read data
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>sqlserver>dts (more info?)

I have an MSDE database in a desktop environment. I wanted to move it to a
shared SQL Server instance so I used DTS to copy the objects to an existing
database on the server. Using Enterprise Manager I can design/open the
objects on the server but when I change my connection properties in the MS
Access client to point to the server I cannot design/open some of the
objects. For example, when I go to design a table the error message in MS
Access suggests that a view object cannot be found ?! Any help would be
greatly appreciated.
