I have installed the CellSetGrid OLAP tool, and really appreciate the
work that has gone into developing the component.

On DEBUG (local machine) it works fine. When I deploy to my development
server, the page gets "stuck" with a solid panel in front of the grid
object. The data is there, because ViewSource on the page content
reveals a fully-populated Field List.

Other users have also reported this JavaScript error, "... object
required", and I believe this is related to that issue. Is the error in
the "onresize" event for the grid?

In my case, the DIV causing the problem is named "csg_pnlWait", and I
think it is created by the IEGrid.cs code. I don't see where the panel
will be set to transparent, though.

Can someone offer any suggestions for this?

Hi,
I'm also having the same problem. Has anyone found a solution?

It works fine on my development machine but I get the same problem as
Rick then it is deployed on testing machines.

I've had no luck with this, and I'm going to try modifying the code
that sets/hides the panel. I'll post any results from my
experimentation here.

This is just a guess:
Did you "install" the control on the server machine?I mean take exe of
cellsetgrid and execute it on the server.
Check on the server that
"C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\aspnet_client\cellsetgrid\9_0_0_0" folder
exists.There, you will find the icons and images needed for the display
of the field list.
It happend to me that I forgot to install the control on the server,so
I always got "error, obejct expected" on IE, and the reason was that
cellsetgrid control couldnīt find icons needed for the display of the
field list.

Hey thanks, that was the problem! I feel a bit silly not working it out
myself but at least I'm not the only one Smile

Just an extra note, I copied those files accross manually and was still
getting the error. I had to then set the windows permissions on the
"C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\aspnet_client\cellsetgrid\9_0_0_0" folder to give
'Everyone' read access. I guess if I had just ran the install app it
may have done that for me.
