Archived from groups: alt>php (more info?)

I have a search engine optimization project in the works, and I have found
a somewhat old article:
http://www.phpbuilder.com/columns/tim20000526.php3

which I'm carefully going through.

Is there another good resource for this? I'm not looking to shove my way
into the number 1 spot on all engines, just guidelines esp. on google-friendly
directory & subdirectory structure.

Go to the forums. On a search engine, look for "seo forums" or "search engine forums", and start reading. There are at least 3-4 good sites that you will discover.

If you are using an existing script, e.g. phpbb, then go the specialized forum about that script. They usually have very good discussions about seo.

To Matthew.

You can go to <a rel="nofollow" style='text-decoration: none;' href="http://www.webproworld.com" target="_blank">http://www.webproworld.com</a> it is a forum for SEO there was an
very good article recently about SEO for various search engines and
mentioning how to go about it. according to the article there are four ways
to allow search engine recognise pages that are dynamic in nature.

Unfortunately, i cannot find the article, so i suggest you could check it
out.
