Can MobSync be automated (batch file or powershell)? I have several remote
users (MSDE 2000) doing Merge Replication to a SQL 2000 publisher. I would
like to automate the process where the replication happened automatically
like a scheduled task. I have changed the values for Login and Query Timeout
in Sync mgr.

Alternatively, how can the subscription (merge agent) on the subscriber be
started using OSQL with a different profile for a longer timeouts?

Thanks,

Steve

Not really. Mobsync (WSM) can be configure to replicate on demand, when you
logon, a network becomes available, or when CPU goes below a threshold.

Use Task scheduler to run a program or batch file on a schedule.

There is no automatic way to dynamically switch profiles when you run into
login timeout issues. In code you could trap for the error and then select a
different profile.
