Goodday to you all.
Just a quickie. I have changed OS from XP to Vista (not by choice might I
add). Now i had Apache 1.3, php4.3.11 and MySQL 4 running perfectly on my
XP box. Now before I go charging in to get things setting for Vista are
there any known problems with the above programs? if so whats the best way
around them.
thx >> Stay informed about: Appache, php and MySql on vista |

You need loads more RAM as vista do require around a gig just to run itself.
If you have a none OEM XP, then I do suggest you install it to replace
vista. In case you want to use cool 3D effects for your desktop, then it
may be far better to install one of the many Linux distributions, you
will manage with less memory and can manage with a none vista capable
system to do more fantastic things than you can do with vista and at the
same time you get an easy way to install apache 2.2, php 5 and mysql 5.
