I'm getting ready to install SQL 2005 Standard on a couple servers in a DMZ.
I'm curious as to which account type you normally use for the service
account? Do you typically use a domain (or local) user account, Local System,
or some other built-in system account? Assuming you use a domain or local
user account, do you normally assign it admin. privledges for the SQL Server
Agent to run properly?

Thanks.

I use a domain account when I need to use replication or have the servers
"see" a UNC drive on one of the other servers. If you don't need this you
could just specify local system. You can set it up one way and change it
later if you need to.
