Hi
Is there any way of retrieving the data held in a Progress V9 database
using an ODBC connection? I have four databases in my Progress setup
and I need to access the data in such a way that report builder cannot
deal with. In the services file under windows\system32\drivers\etc
there is a list of the databases and their port numbers. Can I use
that information in anyway to help build such a connection? Thanks.

Yes, you need minimum a SQL Client Access Licence for the ODBC driver.
The driveris named:
DATADIRECT 4.x 32BIT Progress SQL-92
