Top stuff!

Obviously they'll need to bring it down sometime within the next 63days to
upgrade to a supported version .... Wink

I was wondering if the last time this engine was down was to upgrade it to 10.00.FC8 1000 days ago.

1000 days without an unplanned outage is one thing, but 1000 days of continuous up time is most impressive.

No. It is a small dev. system (SAP basis Rel 6.20) and I have
everything I need stored elsewhere (transports, unloads). So I can
rebuild it from scratch if reboot/restore/something else fails.

Meanwhile I noticed that the start screen of ST04 does not display
four digit up-time values correctly ...

Regards
Christian

Dear Michael Gumby,

My answer to your private e-mail was meant as a private e-mail. I did
not expect to read it in public.

hmm i did not wanted to do this. but i guess it is free advertisement
for informix.

I do not have the onstat - and uptime at hand, when i have i'll post
it.

one of our systems at my prev employer for a customer was used as a
backup
system to store metadata and images and had an uptime of 1800 days.
on Informix 9.21.FC1 on HP-UX A-class (eat your heart out obstacle for
killing hpux...)

This system is sunset now.

I started this week at a new employer also informix OOOOHHH YEAH

See you

Superboer.
